Although this can't be said about many things, music has the ability to live on forever. Whether rearranged or transformed the underlying melody of a song never dies and can be passed on generation after generation.

Freddie has had the privilege of having two of his own original songs live on for more than 2 decades. While the originals are still being played over the air waves today, they have also been reborn, becoming new hits by some of todays top artists.

His song Forget Me Knots originally recorded by Patrice Rushen was later used by Will Smith for the song Men In Black which made it to #1 on the Billboard 200 shortly after its release in 1997, and by George Michael for his song Fast Love.

And Freddie's song, Haven't You Heard, also recorded by Patrice Rushen was used by Kirk Franklin for the chart topping hit, Looking For You, from his album, Hero, released in 2005.
